Project Brief
Pred is a unified platform with the goal to provide low-cost automated system for Integrated Care Management. The mission is to unify all stakeholders across the health ecosystem with a primary focus on interoperability, data consolidation and analytics.
Providing smart solutions to Hospitals, Diagnostic centers and Doctors along with the ability to securely plug into the larger eco-system reducing cost, time and carbon footprint for all interactions and transactions among key stakeholders of the healthcare ecosystem.
The Story
Problem Space
Healthcare information in India is scattered and it becomes difficult for caregivers to track patients medical history and to prescribe the correct treatment.
01
Consolidating the patients past medical history from different caregivers is error prone and time consuming.
02
No clear transperancy in medical caregiving from admission to billing which causes unaticipated costs for the patients.
03
Printing costs for medical documents such as X-ray is expensive and an environmental hazard.
The Challenge
How might we address the challenge of inefficient data sharing and communication among healthcare providers?
The Solution
The final product successfully combined Pred's business and customer goals to give delightful features. Overall it was characterized by:

A quick scroll through my research
Preliminary Concepts - Sketched Iterations
I took the lead for "Medical Timeline" and "My Doctors & Uploads" Feature. I started exploring concepts along the identified design principles of transparency, customization, and ease of navigation. For concept stage, I collaborated with cross-functional partners and received feedback from:
-
Kunal Desai (Project Manager) and Vivek (Software Developer)
-
Dhisti Desai (Head of Design) & Ishan Shah (Design Manager)
-
Group Critique with the design team
We combined our sketches to form the paper prototype

Wireframing Iterations
Explored and Iterated based on users and stakeholders feedback. Received feedback from:
-
Usability Testing - 3 Patients (Pre-cautionary Persona)
-
Kunal Desai (Project Manager) and Vivek (Software Developer)
-
Dhisti Desai (Head of Design) & Ishan Shah (Design Manager)
-
Group Critique with the design team
Design System, Final Screens, & User Validation
Developed a new design system in collaboration with the UI designer and created High Fidelity Prototypes. View the Design System in detail here: https://xd.adobe.com/view/8367cfc8-5ca0-48b5-a795-21a066f28abd-d634/

Final High Fidelity Prototype
Takeaways - What I could have done differently?
Focus on accessibility principles
-
Testing color contrasts using the AA Test & Mobile WCAG compliance!
-
Testing icons and font sizes with people with disabilities.
More simpler explorations for timeline feature
-
Trying and testing a few more designs for the timeline feature at the wireframe phase would help me compare the test results.
